Garden improvement & maintenance

Nothing makes us happier than getting our hands in the soil – tending to each plant and project with expertise, knowledge and care.

For new gardens, we can work with garden designers at the planting stage. Or begin the maintenance once everything is in the earth.

We offer a wide range of services including, planting design, herbaceous border maintenance, specialist pruning, topiary, lawn care and hedge trimming.

Whatever your needs, get in touch and let’s discuss how we can help.

Specialist rose pruning

From November to March we provide specialist rose pruning that keeps your roses in shape, maintains healthy plants, and encourages abundant flowering.

Using techniques learnt whilst pruning the roses in the world famous Sissinghurst Castle rose garden in Kent, our team can expertly prune your roses to create structure and form in the winter followed by show stopping blooms through the warmer months.

As this can only be done during these 5 months of the year, availability is limited so contact us early to schedule your pruning sessions.

Gardenalia & architectural soucing

Setting off your planting scheme with some well-chosen architectural features and gardenalia can really add interest to your outdoor space. A tin bath planted with herbs, a moss covered staddle stone or a wrought iron bench will provide instant texture and patina.

A French oak water barrel adds rustic charm to an outbuilding, while also collecting rainwater for the garden. Add a well-placed antique watering can to dunk into the barrel and you’ve got a watering system that is both useful and beautiful. William Morris would be proud!

We are happy to suggest and source items from our partners in the reclamation and antiques trade.

Let’s work together.

We will keep your garden looking healthy and maintained. All you need to do is enjoy it.
